Do you have the experience, education, and industry knowledge of Animal Nutrition to manage a sales team and key accounts in Canada (primarily)? Do you accept the challenge to plan, forecast, recruit, train, and organize team activities to achieve goals and generate repeatable demand for products? Can you create and implement strategies to maximize financial and business results for your region?

We have been engaged by a global science-based company to assist them to find the right Regional Sales Manager for (primarily) the Canadian market. As our client has a number of different markets, the focus of this position will be within their Animal Nutrition and Health division.

To be successful, it has been identified that candidates offer:
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or science/technology in an animal related field
  • 7+ years' experience in sales/marketing within agribusiness complemented by a working knowledge of the feed ingredient business
  • Direct experience managing a sales team through mentorship, leadership, and coaching
  • Ability to network and attract high calibre employees
  • Indepth knowledge of animal production and feed markets and the various segments within the markets
  • Broad knowledge of the total food-animal value chain
  • Ability to use competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to differentiate company products
  • Excellent team and people management skills supported by superior communication and planning skills
  • Commercial product management experience an asset
  • Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
