As a result of continued growth, they seek a Technical Marketing Manager- Ruminants for their Canadian subsidiary, reporting to the Canadian Business Manager.

In this key Eastern Canadian home office-based role (ON or QC), you will develop and implement the ruminant products marketing strategy for the Canadian business, manage and lead technical support services for the species group, and develop, implement and promote disease prevention strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement the ruminant products marketing plan, resulting in increased sales volumes
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activity and advise on product positioning, local pricing, and profit margins, and report market information and identified opportunities to head office
  • Leverage technical and veterinary knowledge to lead technical services, advise customers on product use, train the sales team, conduct product presentations, and liaise with industry leaders and influencers

Key qualifications include:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM), ruminant is required, with post-graduate studies in epidemiology preferred
  • Excellent English language communication skills; bilingual French-English skills a definite asset
  • A solid track record in the industry, including established relationships with key players and demonstrated industry credibility
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, and demonstrate and be perceived as a leader by customers and internal teams
  • 5+ years of experience with ruminant species and 3+ years of experience in the animal health/pharma industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with Canadian and HQ teams, possessing a combination of business, sales and technical aptitude
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics, and the ability to embrace the values of excellence, credibility and optimism
