As the Office Manager you will lead the Administration Team in accomplishing Department goals. 

·         Manage Administrative Assistant.  This includes delegating appropriate tasks, monitoring those tasks, providing constructive feedback, and providing Performance Reviews (typically annually)

·         Manage administrative functions including AR and AP Billing, month end reconciliations, and other office processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion

·         Oversee bookkeeping & accounting entries.  Ensure integrity and timeliness of the financial records. 

·         Oversee & coordinate facility maintenance

·         Manage general office administration (office supplies, phone systems, office equipment)

·         Coordinate office events

·         Work with office staff to ensure that projects and products are delivered on time and meet clients’ quality and value expectations.

·         Provide exceptional customer service at all times to external & internal customers

·         Assist with preparation for conventions, seminars, presentations and coordination of travel arrangements.

·         Maintain in depth knowledge of our proprietary software

·         Provide feedback on Department results and suggest/implement improvements

Qualifications:

·         Ability to take initiative and make decisions

·         Post secondary training in accounting field with at least 5+ years experience

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

·         Keen attention to detail

·         Ability to maintain discretion and respect confidentiality

·         Ability to delegate

·         Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills

·         High degree of flexibility, adaptability and leadership skills

·         Highly organized and efficient with ability to prioritize work efficiently

·         Ability to work independently & in a team environment

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & history working with different software applications

·         Understanding of CRA rules & regulations

·         Payroll knowledge an asset
